Noelle Brown Research Update

Noelle Brown, ARCS Scholar 2021-22, is a PhD student in Human-Centered Computing in the Kahlert School of Computing at the University of Utah with research interests in data science and computing education and ethics in AI/ML. Noelle is researching ways to integrate ethics into undergraduate computing courses with the hopes of teaching future technology leaders to be mindful of the potential consequences of their code. She passionate about fair and ethical AI/ML and believes her greatest impact in the field will be educating others. 

Noelle received her MS in Data Science from Southern Methodist University and BS in Mathematics from Colorado State University.  She has experience working as both a mathematics and Data Science instructor.

There will be reserved parking in Lot 30 right across the street from the Warnock Engineering Building.  It will have reserved signs and cones (that you may have to move).

Come a little early to purchase your lunch at the Cafe in the atrium of the Warnock Building.  They have a soup, salad and sandwhich menu.
