Brad Jacobsen, Utah ARCS Scholar 2017-2018, was recently recognized among the top five honorees of the Scholar Honoree Program at the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) 2019 meeting in San Francisco, earning 4th place with his presented research, “Prevalence of Retinal Diseases and Associated Risk Factors in an African Population from Mwanza, Tanzania.” In addition to Jacobsen’s research being published in an upcoming issue of Ophthalmology Times®, his research will also be featured in a supplement to a peer-reviewed publication in 2020.
