ARCS Scholar Dr. George Sánchez presented at the ARCS Utah Chapter February 24th meeting. Dr. Sanchez discussed his work in treating retinoblastoma,a serious cancer of the eye. George is a third year Ophthalmology Resident at the John A. Moran Eye Center. He earned his medical degree at Dartmouth Medical School with honors including receiving the Arthur Naitove Surgical Scholar Award, given to one graduating medical student with the greatest potential for making a significant contribution to the field of surgery. Over 30 people attended the event at the Moran Eye Center. George announced his match to the Associated Retinal Consultants program in Michigan and his engagement!
