ARCS members, scholars and friends are invited to attend a seminar by Dr. Tara Mastren, Assistant Professor of Nuclear Engineering. Dr. Mastren will discuss "The Production and Application of Radionuclides for Targeted Radiotherapy". The seminar will be November 15, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. in Room 2325 of the Merrill Engineering Building, 50 S Central Campus Dr, Salt Lake City, UT 84112.
Dr. Mastren focuses her research in Nuclear Medicine specifically Targeted Radiotherapy for the treatment of cancer and Alzheimers. She also works on lanthanide and actinide chemistry and isotope production. Read an interesting article about her work in nuclear medicine here.
