Utah Scholar Aniqua Baset is part of a team of researchers from the University of Utah’s School of Computing and Idaho National Laboratory who received the prestigious 2019 “R&D 100 Award” from R&D World magazine for their development of a system for Wireless radio Frequency signal Identification and protocol Reverse Engineering, or WiFIRE.
The full team is made up of U School of Computing professor Sneha Kumar Kasera (pictured, left) and his doctoral students, Christopher Becker and Baset (pictured, right), along with Kurt Derr and Sam Ramirez from the Idaho National Laboratory.
