Sarcos Robotics Co-Founder and President Dr. Fraser Smith

"Robots are the answer, so what's the question?"


Dr. Fraser Smith serves as the President of Sarcos Robotics, where he oversees product development and manages company operations. He is also intimately involved in the engineering design aspects of all projects currently being undertaken by Sarcos and continues to be a driving force in the generation of new intellectual property. Dr. Smith holds more than 50 patents with many more in process. He received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto, and his Ph.D. from the University of Utah.

Sarcos Robotics is a global leader in the development and production of energetically autonomous, highly mobile and dexterous robots. Sarcos is redefining the work force of the future in a broad range of industries including automotive, aviation, industrial manufacturing, oil & gas, power generation, construction, logistics, mining, defense, public safety and health care.
