Daman Bareiss Now with Sarcos Robotics

Daman Bareiss is now back in Utah working as a Robotics Software Engineer for Sarcos Robotics after spending time in New Hampshire as a Sr. Mobile Robot Software Emgineer for Omron Adept Technologies working on motion planning algorithms for mobile robots. 

Bareiss completed his Doctor of Philosophy degree at the University of Utah (U of U) in June 2016 after graduating from Oklahoma State University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in May of 2011.  In addition to being an ARCS Utah Scholar he was the recipient of the NSF Integrative Graduate Education and Research Traineeship for Biocentric Robotics and a U of U Graduate Research Fellowship.  While at the U of U Bareiss worked in the Design, Automatic, Robotics, and Controls Lab with Dr. Kam Leang as well as the Algorithmic Robotics Lab with Dr. Jur van den Berg researching reciprocal collision avoidance for multiple robots sharing a common workspace.
