Marcus Parry, ARCS Utah Scholar 2016-2017, spent time this Spring working at the Advanced Photon Source of Argonne National Lab  performing high-pressure diamond anvil cell compression experiments to explore compressibility, texture, and stress in superhard materials in extreme environments.   He is finishing up work on his degree and plans to graduate Fall of 2020.
