Events Highlights

ARCS Members, Scholar Alumns, University Faculty and Staff gathered April 30, 2024 at the Moran Eye Center to recognize the 2023-2024 ARCS Scholars.  Certificates and pins were presented to our newest scholars:  Alexis Throop, Mechanical Engineering; Dallin Littlewood, Mechanical Engineering; Nadim Azar, MD, Ophthalmolgy; Chase Paulson, MD, Ophthalmology.   The group also heard research updates from three of our 2022-2023 Scholars:  Dallin Hansen, Electrical Engineering; Liam Sullivan, Mechanical Engineering; and Erica Woertz, MD, PhD, Ophthalmology.   This year is also the 15th Anniversary of the founding of the Utah Chapter of ARCS Foundation, Inc.  Sadly this anniversary coincides with the retirment of Dr. Rich Brown, Dean of the College of Engineering.    Dr. Brown was recognized for his role in founding the chapter and his on-going support of ARCS.  More pictures from the event may be seen here.
